Following the success of the previous Docs in Progress screenings as part of the Edinburgh Pitch, we have decided to make these screenings quarterly.

Selected filmmakers will be offered the opportunity to screen 20 minutes of their rough-cut to a supportive audience followed by a 30 minute conversation focusing on creative decision making and editing. A great way to test your film on a real live audience and possibly even give you some fresh ideas to take back to the edit suite…

Any UK-based filmmaker or producer with a documentary at a rough cut stage willing to share it with an audience and eager to receive some constructive feedback can apply. The film should have the potential for a minimum of 52 minutes running time on any theme.

There will be three rounds for application with deadlines in November 2011, January and April 2012.

The screenings will take place in Edinburgh, at the Edinburgh College of Art.

Deadline to apply for Round 1: Friday 4 November 2011 – midnight GMT
