Six shorts from the Scottish Documentary Institute’s emerging talent initiative Bridging the Gap on the theme of love, and special addition of Pouters by Paul Fegan from BTG 2012. This is a kaleidoscope of intimate and thought-provoking stories: love in the face of death, love that drives you, unspoken desires and the complicated love we hold for home and family.

About Bridging the Gap

Bridging the Gap is one of the leading documentary new talent initiatives in the UK, offering intensive training and commission opportunities to emerging UK-based filmmakers. The programme helps filmmakers to develop their 10-minute documentary projects and allows them the chance to work closely with industry professionals.

The films produced to date have enabled the filmmakers to take successful first steps in the industry, picking up awards, BAFTAs, special mentions and festival screenings in 60 countries worldwide.

 

This screening is held by the Scottish Documentary Institute in collaboration with Northern Ireland Screen, and is a part of the Bridging the Gap Inspiration Workshop Belfast.
