We are delighted to host a masterclass with Danish film director and poet Jørgen Leth.
Jørgen Leth is a leading figure in experimental documentary film making. His most notable films include the epic Sunday in Hell (1977), and surrealist short The Perfect Human (1967).
This masterclass will show insight into Jørgen’s inspiration process, filmmaking hurdles, and development processes. Jørgen will show clips from some of his films, The Perfect Human (1967), A Sunday in Hell (1977), 5 Obstructions (2003), Erotic Man (2010), 66 Scenes From America (1982), amongst others.
As a Documentary Institute, we do not restrict everything to purely documentary. There will be opportunity to discuss all formats of filmmaking, art and video.
