The Red Army (2011)

Duration: 09:05    Category: Scotland, Short   Opportunity: Bridging the Gap

Battle lines are being drawn across Scotland as a WAR on grey squirrels intensifies. On one side, the American grey squirrel, an alien species introduced to the UK in the late 19th Century, on the other, the red squirrel and it’s allies.

This short observational documentary follows two very different red squirrel enthusiasts, House of Lord’s peer Lady Saltoun of Abernethy and John Cook owner of Hollywood Limousine Hire. They take us behind enemy lines and unite to defeat the grey.
