We Are Northern Lights

23rd May 2012 / News, Opportunities

Calling all Scottish documentary filmmakers!

How would you like a co-director credit for a feature length documentary that will tour Scotland and play in cinemas? Or the chance to win cash awards of up to £2500? How about helping creative director Nick Higgins gather together incredible footage to make the first ever mass participation documentary film in the history of Scotland?

Find out more: come along to a unique filmmaker only session with Nick Higgins in Lecture Theatre 017 at the Edinburgh College of Art on Monday the 28th of May at 2pm.

So far, Northern Lights has received over 500 submissions from members of the general public – but there are also some special incentives for experienced filmmakers to get involved, too. Join us in creating a unique portrait of Scotland in 2012 and come along to find out why you should share your powerful, beautiful and passionate footage with us.

If you cannot make it please go to www.wearenorthernlights.com for more info on how to get involved and check Northern Lights Director’s Requests of the week before submitting your footage.
