New Voices mentoring programme launched

7th July 2020 / News

Responding to the barriers faced by women as they try to progress their film careers, today sees the launch of New Voices, a 6-month mentoring and professional development programme.

Aimed at women and non-binary filmmakers in Scotland who aspire to become documentary directors and/or producers, the programme is a mix of mentoring, career coaching and business sessions designed to grow participants’ business skills, networks and confidence.

We are very keen to have diversity within our New Voices participants, and strongly encourage applications from Black and Minority Ethnic female, trans women and non binary filmmakers.

Full details of the programme are now available in our New Voices section.
