Edinburgh Pitch 2023 — Selected Projects

We’re thrilled to unveil the twelve projects selected for the 17th edition of the Edinburgh Pitch. We were truly impressed by the calibre and diversity of this year’s submissions, and we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the applicants for sharing their projects with us!

The selected projects are:

The selected teams will pitch their project to an industry panel on Tuesday 13 June. Confirmed panelists include representatives from SVT, POV / America ReFramed, ARTE La Lucarne, BBC Storyville, MUBI, Netflix, DAE, InDocs, Visions du Réel and many more.

And this year, two cash prizes will be awarded following the event, an Audience Award (£3,000) and an Industry Award (£2,000).

The Edinburgh Pitch is open to Observers and passes are now available here. Space is limited so make sure to book your place soon!

About the Edinburgh Pitch

The Edinburgh Pitch is Scotland’s only public pitching forum and the 2023 edition will take place in person in Edinburgh. The event is aimed at international independent filmmakers and production companies raising finance for ambitious and urgent feature documentaries in late development, production or post-production.
