We are delighted to be presenting this free Masterclass in association with Scottish Mental Health Film Festival and Luminate.
Hear from award-winning Dutch director Tom Fassaert on the rewards and challenges of personal filmmaking. Tom’s most recent documentary, A Family Affair , is a “haunting exposé of familial love gone awry” (Sheffield Doc/Fest). The film was Opening Night selection and won the Special Jury Award for Dutch Documentary at IDFA in 2015. The director’s father, Rob Fassaert, who features prominently in the film, will also be joining the masterclass.
A Family Affair will be screening directly after the masterclass at Filmhouse, Edinburgh, 6pm-8.15pm
The Masterclass is free but ticketed.
