Jordan Stories | Start Now (2016)

“She shouts! She pushes! She elbows! She’s angry! She kicks! SheFighter!” Tired of witnessing the oppression and domestic violence around her, Lina Khalifeh decided to put her martial arts skills at the disposal of women. This led to the founding of SheFighter, a studio that is spearheading a movement for empowering the next generation of women as well as turning into a very successful business.

This short documentary was made during a SDI workshop in Jordan, organised by the British Council in partnership with the Royal Film Commission of Jordan.
