A top commandant from the Syrian National army took the grave decision to defect and leave all his possessions behind to move to Jordan. Now a prize on his head he discovers that as an ex army he cannot get the refugee status and therefore is denied of any financial support. The entire family is condemned to “inactivity” with days alternating between anxiety and boredom.
This short documentary was made during a SDI workshop in Amman, organised by the British Council in partnership with Bidayyat for Audiovisual Arts.
