Coffee Morning “Isabel’s Independence” Q & A (2021)

Duration: 01:04:34    Opportunity: Right Here

Watch a riotous hour of chat with the cast and crew of “Isabel’s Independence“, filmed as part of our Right Here series. This Q&A follows an informal coffee morning format.

When Isabel arrives in Edinburgh she is ready to carve out a new life. However, just as she is getting settled, the pandemic hits the Scottish capital. “Isabel’s Independence” follows Isabel, as she finds work and navigates the language barrier to adapt to her new city.  But Isabel is a force of nature, and we have to ask, is the Scottish capital ready for her?

Join directors Nelisa Alcalde and Imna de Reyes, with editor Ona Bartoli, Isabel herself, and SDI’s Alex Colta.

“Isabel’s Independence” is available on BBC iPlayer, click here to view, and premiered on BBC Scotland in August, 2021.
