Emma Davie | Masterclass | 2014

Emma is a documentary filmmaker and Programme Director of Film & TV at Edinburgh College of Art, University of Edinburgh. For her film I Am Breathing, Emma won the 2013 British Academy Scotland Award for ‘Best Director’ together with Morag McKinnon.

Emma tells us about I am Breathing in this masterclass Q&A. She gives us tips on how to discover the language of the film, the importance of the universal, the importance of the visceral, and imagining the experience of the other.
