Bridging the Gap is one of the UK’s most exciting new talent initiatives, offering in-depth story development and short documentary commission opportunities to emerging filmmakers in Scotland.
Listen back to our 2020 launch event in which we were joined by members of the SDI team and previous Bridging the Gap directors Ruth Reid (Night Shift, 2011), better known as the producer of award winning film Scheme Birds, and Chico Pereira (Donkeyote, 2017), as we discussed this year’s search for stories and filmmakers and offered some advice for those coming up with ideas.
